Couch to 5K Description
Train with us to complete the $5/5K on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00 pm!
Sign up today for our coached, motivational, and FUN Couch to 5K training program for runners and walkers. This 6-week program will get you back on the road OR get you ready to finish your first 5K – whether you’re running or walking. Our first run together will be Tuesday, May 8 at 5:30pm at Cooper Park.
We meet in the big parking lot of the main entrance. The main entrance is closest to Cardinal and by the playground.
This is a beginner-focused group. We utilize the WALK-RUN method to ensure that anyone in reasonable health can finish the 5K.
All ages and abilities are welcome. The 6-week program meets three times per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm and Sundays at 7:00pm), and our goal race is the $5/5K presented by Pirate Perry Events and RunMH on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00 pm!
$45 fee includes your race entry, custom Couch to 5K race t-shirt, training and support, finisher’s medal, and a post-race celebration for the Couch to 5K participants and their families
